Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of gaugekeep.com and related services (the “Service”), operated by Sundae Software Solutions (“we,” “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts and access

Access to platform data is restricted to verified members. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your access with unauthorized parties.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Do not use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Data source and accuracy

GaugeKeep decodes and displays telemetry sourced from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (DADDS) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration / National Weather Service. GaugeKeep is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Readings may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate due to sensor faults, transmission gaps, or upstream issues.

Not for life-safety use

The Service is provided for informational purposes only. It is not an emergency-notification system and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for life-safety, evacuation, or flood-response decisions. Always follow official guidance from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the National Weather Service, and local emergency management.

Text message (SMS) alerts

Text-message delivery is optional and is never required to use the Service or as a condition of any purchase. You add a phone number yourself when configuring an alert; email and app push notifications remain available instead. Message frequency depends on the alerts you configure and on river conditions. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or HELP for assistance. You can also disable the text channel from your alert settings at any time. Full program details are on our Text Message (SMS) Program page, and how we handle mobile information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Text messages depend on mobile carriers and messaging providers outside our control. Delivery is best-effort and can be delayed or fail entirely. As above, the Service is not an emergency-notification system and text alerts must not be relied on as the sole basis for life-safety decisions.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sundae Software Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on data provided through the Service.

Changes

We may modify these Terms or the Service at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
